Purina Pet Food Recall…includes Beneful products!

Purina Wet Dog Food 10-oz. Tub Voluntary Recall

Purina has issued a voluntary recall on multiple brands of wet food.  After performing testing, they discovered that some of the 10-oz. wet dog food tubs may not contain the recommended level of added vitamins and minerals, so Purina voluntarily recalled the product at the retail level.

The recall includes select wet dog food 10-oz. tubs under the Beneful Prepared Meals, Beneful Chopped Blends and Pro Plan Savory Meals brands. A full list of included products by “Best Before” date and production code ranges can be found by this link provided by Purina here.

Purina has reported that most of the recalled product does contain all of the vitamins and minerals your dog needs, they still recommend that you discard any of the affected product you may have.

You can call Purina directly at 1-800-877-7919 and they will answer any questions you may have regarding the recall or you can request a refund.
